When I first got the radio it sat for a few weeks finally had it installed and hated it.The radio would switch from sd to cd to radio on its on. Mid song sd would cut off or worse skip. I hated this radio I was in the process of returning it when the shop who installed it recommend i change the connectors. Long story short they first installed my cd player using electrical tape to connect the wires so they went back and used Dorman connectors part # 85491 runs between 2.50 and 3.50 i believe amazon sells them but any autozone or oreilly's carry them. Since then I can finally blast my music with out the radio turning it self off. I still would not recommend this to anyone because all the issues it caused me and on top of that i can not have a cd in the cd player while listening to my sd card.

This headunit is a great value. It does everything it says. For the price you can't beat it. When I first ordered it I was kinda nervous; My biggest concern was picture quality. I expected it to be very pixeled because of the low price and lower name brand. But the picture is great! The only thing that this unit doesn't have that higher end units do is GPS. But you can purchase an upgraded model that does. I don't need it since I have GPS in my Droid-x. The installation was a breeze. For anyone with any experience, it was very self explanatory. The manual is horrible as others said because it is translated from another language but all the wires are very clearly marked. There is a safety feature on this unit so that you can't watch video while driving. I thought it defeated the purpose of buying this unit; since I wanted video for my pasengers to watch while I drive. But don't worry it is VERY easy to bypass. All you must do is connect the pink "parking brake" wire to ANY ground on your vehicle. I must mention that this is illegal in the US so therefore I'm not telling you to do it. By the way I found a crappier unit in walmart that didn't have all the features this one has and it was $100 more! So definitely a great buy in my opinion. Oh, 1 more thing. I was a lil nervous playing a dvd while driving because I'm in the process of redoing the suspension in the truck that I have this installed in. So the ride is VERY rough and bumpy right now. BUT, my DVD NEVER skipped so far. Not even once. Hope this helps! Thank you everyone else for your feedback I really appreciate it to help me make informed buying decisions.

It does what its supposed to do : Boss BV7320 In-Dash 3.2" DVD/MP3/CD Widescreen Receiver with USB (Detachable Front Panel)

For months I searched Amazon for a replacement DVD player for my conversion van. I had all but settled on the top of the line JVC model. I really wanted that JVC however, I only use my van a few times a year for family trips. This started me thinking of looking for a more reasonable model. This one looked to do what I needed it to for about a third of the cost of the other model. reviews were kind of mixed but in the end I went for it. Its certainly not the high end unit I really wanted but, it does work for not alot of money.

PROS:
1)Inexpensive (comparatively)
2)Duel video outs- perfect for a conversion van's rear screen
3)Detachable face. Somebody actually attempted to steal this stereo the first night it was installed so the detachable face is rather nice. (I hadn't detached the face)

CONS:
1)DVD Audio very low. I believe this was mentioned by another reviewer and he was spot on. The volume must be almost maxed out to hear a movie while the vehicle is in motion, and don't forget to turn it down before the movie is over!
2)Display has no dimmer. I drive long trips at night and the screen on this thing will blind you. I found that while listening to the radio you can open the face (as if your putting in a DVD or CD) and the music will continue but it will darken the radio.
3)Boring Screen. mentioned by others before, if there isn't a movie playing, the screen is pretty uneventful.

I can't honestly say that I would buy this stereo again. It does what I need it to but it is deffinitely a matter of "you get what you pay for"!
